Much like several popular series, Emily in Paris Season 4 has also kept up with the trend of dividing the season into two halves, instead of releasing all episodes in one go, which brings us to the final episode of Season 4 Part 1, aka Episode 5.

So far, this season has felt like a breeze with just the right amount of drama, romance, and fashion, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

If you have been watching the season so far and were previously rooting for Emily and Gabriel, there will be some tough times ahead, but one should be able to navigate it, especially since fans have waited so long, and so has Emily.

In this article, you can read our review of Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 5, along with some highlights, and beware of spoilers!

Is This the End of Sophia and Camillie?

Emily in Paris Season 4 gives us a sitcom-like feel because the episodes are 35 minutes or under, paired with an ensemble cast, plenty of humor, and a sprinkle of some great drama.

So if you’re a fan of all these elements, this season, and particularly Episode 5, will be right up your alley, and we highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already.

Camille and Sophia have finally moved in next door, but the closeness between Camille and Gabriel remains intact. In fact, he even lets her keep the engagement ring which was passed down from his family, because well, she is pregnant with his child, and they are going to be a family. It doesn’t sit right with us, but as long as it helps drive the narrative forward, that’s all we need!

Meanwhile, trouble in paradise continues for Camille and Sophia, who don’t seem to agree on things for their new apartment, especially with the baby coming into the picture, and Sophia is quick to pack her bags.

We did mention dynamics changing in the earlier episodes, and this is yet another taste of it and a little reminder – it’s only Part 1!

Things really are moving fast for Gabriel and Emily, when the three magical words come into the picture, and seeing them happy and steady, stirs something up in Camille, which has been around since Episode 2, and even the previous season for that matter.

The biggest shock of the season, or the series, comes towards the end of the episode when Camille finds out she was never pregnant to begin with.

There were definitely some signs of this throughout the season, but it still came across as a fantastic plot twist, especially for this particular character. This is only the beginning, and this level of drama is why the fans love this show!
