In the first episode of Emily in Paris Season 4 we witnessed plenty of drama, laughter, fashion, but most importantly, the inevitable heartbreak of Alfie as he finally ends things with Emily, who would have thought?
Now, the focus has shifted to a tense Gabriel, who learns that Camille hasn’t been seen by anyone since the wedding, leaving everyone panicked.
We have no doubt that each episode of Emily in Paris will have all of us hooked to the screen, but we have been waiting for the stakes to be a little higher, and that brings us to Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 2.
Keep reading our review, where we share our thoughts and some highlights, and as always, beware of any spoilers!
Emily Finds Herself Caught in Drama…As Always
Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 2 begins with Mindy and Emily standing across the street from Gabriel’s restaurant, where he appears to be just as panicked as the night before.
But, Emily has an interesting update for him, after she and Mindy find out that Camille might be in Greece at the moment, with her potential girlfriend. Remember how we mentioned the stakes being a little higher? Looks like that time is finally here.

Emily and Gabriel lashing out at each other was a long time coming, especially when things had been a little too simple between them. Emily finally tells him the truth about Camille and her affair with another woman, while she was still with Gabriel, and about to marry him. After their little tiff, it’s time for Emily to focus on the reason she’s in Paris, aka her job.
Sometimes, Emily in Paris does feel like a workplace dramedy, and if we had to fit it under any genre of television, it would most likely be that. Nevertheless, it is this part of the series that has the most amount of comedy and non-romantic drama, which makes it a treat for many people, and you will get plenty of it in Episode 2.

It also looks like the series and Netflix has realized just how much fans love Mindy, because her storyline and character arc get plenty of screen time in this particular episode, and we’re here for it. But more importantly, Camille is still missing, and she isn’t with Sophia either.
If there is one person who can find and confront Camille, it has to be Emily, and that’s exactly what happens in Episode 2, and their confrontation is exactly what this season needed. It took 1.5 episodes, but we got to that point.
After a boat war and falling into the pond (you will have to watch it to believe it), the two friends finally make up, in a heartfelt scene.

Conclusion
The tension is finally rising between Gabriel and Emily, and with Camille with Sophia, the two might actually have a minute to explore that, but more of that in the coming episodes, so make sure you don’t out on our review of it!
