In a rare feat for a Netflix series, Virgin River has reached its sixth season, delighting fans who’ve grown invested in Melinda and Jack’s romance. Despite Netflix’s reputation for canceling beloved shows, the streaming giant has given Virgin River a long and healthy run, much to the joy of its dedicated fan base.

The wait is finally over for Virgin River fans, as Season 6 has arrived just in time for the holidays, with Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson reprising their beloved roles. But has this highly anticipated season lived up to the hype?

In this review, we’ll dive in and share our thoughts on whether Virgin River’s latest installment delivers the drama and romance fans have come to expect.

Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson are as captivating as ever in the latest season of Virgin River. The promise of their characters’ upcoming wedding has added an extra sparkle to their on-screen chemistry, making for a delightful watch. The first episode sets the tone for a season that’s sure to captivate fans without disappointment.

For fans who’ve fallen under Virgin River’s charming spell, Season 6 will have you hooked from the first scene until the finale. As the entire cast returns, each character brings a fresh yet familiar dynamic to the table, drawing you in and making this season a must-watch.

As for the newcomers, we recommend buckling in for a ride through beautifully interwoven tales.

The thing that always works in favor of Virgin River is the romantic aspect (not saying we don’t love the drama too) and Season 6 is no exception. This season also feels like it was written specifically for the longstanding fans who have stuck around for years and follow Mel and Jack on this journey as they approach their happily ever after.

Of course, the “big day” takes over the finale of the season and it is a lot more beautiful than we had pictured it in our heads ahead of the release, especially since Jack and Mel rode away from their wedding in the penultimate episode.

Of course, Virgin River Season 6 had to end on a cliffhanger which helps the series stay true to the “drama” genre, and we can’t wait to see what’s next in store.
