The third episode of the 26th season of The Voice had the third round of Blind Auditions, where the coaches choose singers without seeing them. The coaches were Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé.

The episode was full of surprises, emotional moments, and tough decisions as the coaches continued to build their teams. This season, there is a new feature called “Coach Replay” that adds more strategy and emotion to the auditions.

If you’re wondering how the latest audition episode of The Voice Season 26 went down, read on!

Standout Performances in The Voice Season 26 Episode 3

One of the best moments of the evening in The Voice Season 26 episode 3 was the performance by 14-year-old Jaylen Dunham. Jaylen, who had already gained fame for her singing at the age of 12 and had performed at the Apollo Theater, entered the stage with high expectations. His incredible voice stunned the audience as he sang Beyoncé’s “Listen,” but none of the coaches first turned their chairs.

When the chairs finally spun, the coaches were surprised to see such a young performer. Gwen Stefani, deeply moved by the surprise, jumped up to hug Jaylen and praised his performance as “incredible.” She noticed that his low voice was amazing, but she could tell he was anxious, especially since none of the coaches were turning.

Gwen felt horrible about her decision and explained the new “Coach Replay” button, which she used for the first time this season to offer Jaylen a second opportunity. She revealed that she considered pressing her button throughout his performance but chose not to. The new button allowed her to change her mind, and Jaylen was selected for her team.

Later in the latest episode of The Voice Season 26, Georgia Starnes, a 21-year-old with a mix of country and pop influences, also made a big impression that night. She performed Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes” and received a four-chair turn, putting her among the top competitors of the night.

Her unique crossover appeal made her a favorite among the coaches, and she surprised everyone by choosing Snoop Dogg as her mentor. The match between the country-pop singer and the hip-hop star seemed unexpected, but Snoop’s charisma and confidence won her over.

The Power of Diversity

MisterMoon, a Nashville-based folk duet comprised of Savs and Leah Colon, also delivered an impressive performance. Reba and Snoop were charmed by the duo’s harmonies when singing Kacey Musgraves’ “Deeper Well,” and both turned their chairs.

After a humorous interaction in which Snoop teased whether they performed bluegrass because he “has some Greengrass,” the couple unexpectedly chose Snoop as their coach. This decision introduced a new aspect to the competition, since Snoop’s broad tastes may bring out the best in the folk musicians.

Later in the latest episode of The Voice Season 26, Michael Bublé, famous for his silky jazz and crooning style, also had a big impact on the show. Edward Preble, a 19-year-old crooner with a vintage style, sang the classic “Luck Be a Lady,” which immediately caught Bublé’s interest.

Edward had planned to join Team Snoop, but he eventually chose Michael Bublé as his mentor. The duo appeared to be a wonderful fit, with Bublé mentoring the young vocalist in his preferred traditional style.

How Did The Episode End?

Reba McEntire, the current champion, had a strong performance as well. Creigh Riepe, a 32-year-old parent and aspiring musician, described his agonizing battle to overcome drinking.

His emotional delivery of Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” earned him a seat on Team Reba, alongside other potential performers such as Adam Bohanan and Tate Renner.
