If you want to learn about the importance of sound in nature, the little chirps, the venomous hiss, the brave roar, and much more, then you have come to the right place. Three episodes of this docuseries feel like an absolute breeze and it is over before you know it.

The opening scene of Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough starts with different sounds, along with Attenborough’s brilliant narration that will immediately put your mind at ease.

While this docuseries relies heavily on sound, it is also a visual treat, but for the sake of making the most of this experience, we recommend putting your headphones on while you watch all three parts.

You don’t just hear Attenborough in this docuseries but also see him, which only adds to the experience, especially if you have been a fan of his for a long time. He gives us an insight into the technology and how important it has been in the evolution of being able to capture sounds that once couldn’t be heard. We also learn about the masters of silence – owls.

Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough is a marvelous docuseries, one that can give tough competition to several nature documentaries out there, especially because it picks one element and really explores it in the greatest of depths.
