The holiday season on Netflix wouldn’t be complete without Lindsay Lohan, and the streaming giant’s latest release, Our Little Secret, is a perfect example. As expected, Netflix is pulling out all the stops for festive movies this year, and we couldn’t be more thrilled – especially with an intriguing pairing like Lohan and Ian Harding.

Now, more often than not, these movies are filled to the brim with holiday cliches and festivities, and honestly, that’s exactly what the audience is looking for this time of the year. If you’re a fan of Lohan, we highly recommend adding her latest movie to your watchlist, and if you’re looking for more reasons to do so, keep reading our review of Netflix’s Our Little Secret!

Lindsay Lohan is the Holiday Queen!

Avery, played by Lindsay Lohan, and Logan, played by Ian Harding, make the perfect protagonists for this holiday romance. Our Little Secret begins on a charming and cute note, depicting the friends-to-lovers arc between the two through an animated sequence (which was an unexpected yet lovely touch).

Even before the main plot unfolds, you’ll find yourself invested in the couple’s journey. If you’ve watched the trailer or read about the movie beforehand, you know you’re in for a rollercoaster.

Avery and Logan’s messy breakup unfolds before the opening credits roll, setting the stage for the movie’s actual plot. Despite this tumultuous beginning, Our Little Secret perfectly lays the groundwork for the story to come. Moreover, Lohan shines as Avery, looking absolutely stunning, and the undeniable chemistry between her and Harding promises to be a pivotal element of the movie.

Years later, Avery and Logan cross paths once again, but only this time, they’re dating different people from the same family – messy, right? Well, that would be an understatement, and neither of the protagonists handles it too well.

Albeit, that makes for a fun plot for the audience, and undoubtedly, the supporting cast plays an extremely important role here, as much as we’d like to believe that Harding and Lohan carry the movie.

Our Little Secret stands out as one of the most entertaining additions to Netflix’s holiday lineup, not just this year, but overall. With its standout moments, engaging storyline, and great writing, this movie offers an entertaining watch. The unique characters, stunning cast, and Lohan’s captivating presence all contribute to its charm. As the star of the movie, Lohan reinforces her enduring appeal, cementing her popular comeback.

Of course, Our Little Secret has its fair share of cliches, but those are wonderfully paired with some plot twists, family drama, sweet chemistry, and a whole lot of comedy. It doesn’t feel like every other Christmas movie, and that’s one of our favorite parts about it. This movie is a cozy and entertaining watch, not only for Lohan fans but for anyone who loves a good holiday stream.
