Marigaby Tamayo and her family have navigated a series of shocking challenges throughout the first half of Apple TV+’s latest Spanish-language series, Midnight Family.
As the season unfolds, these hurdles continue, testing each family member’s resilience. Ramón, Julio, Marcus, and Marigaby individually confront their own struggles, yet often unite to overcome them.
In the previous episode, there was trouble in paradise when it came to Marigaby’s relationship with Raul, after which she kissed Bernardo, and it will be interesting to see how this pans out for the characters, which brings us to the latest episode. So, stick around for our review of Midnight Family Episode 6.
Marigaby Loses a Loved One
If there’s one family who can be calm under pressure, especially while having a gun pointed at them, it has to be the Tamayo family. Midnight Family Episode 6 begins with the aftermath of the previous episode and is only a small fraction of the narrative that takes place in the rest of the runtime. But, it continues to prove just how strong and smart this family is!

As we mentioned earlier, there was trouble in paradise when it came to Marigaby’s love life, and in this episode, Raul attempts to make things right, but Marigaby isn’t convinced. In fact, he even offers to make things official. On the other hand, it is confirmed that Bernardo has feelings for Marigaby too, which has been evident since the start of the series.
Midnight Family Episode 6 comes with its own set of surprises and there’s always something to look forward to, but we have to appreciate the character arcs in this series, especially Ramon.
Ramon is one of the more complex characters of the family, and by the looks of it, he is all set to get his life back on track, while also rekindling an old flame, aka his ex-wife.

Marigaby finds herself in an unexpected situation when Bernardo’s mother, who is also their professor, invites her home for a small family gathering, one none of them were prepared for.
All the people at lunch are quick to mock paramedics, with a focus on those who work in “bootleg ambulances” which includes Marigaby’s entire family, and of course, she stands up for herself.
In Midnight Family, loss is inevitable, as it is in any medical drama, and shockingly enough, Episode 6 ends with a major heartbreak, especially for Marigaby when she loses a friend she made during the earthquake. As usual, this series doesn’t hold back when it comes to pulling your heartstrings!

Conclusion
Midnight Family Episode 6 was yet another brilliant installment to the series but we do believe that the narrative feels a little lost at the moment. However, we’re certain things will be back on track in no time, so do keep an eye out for our review of the next episode!
