Love is Blind is one of the most loved reality dating shows on Netflix and has diversified vastly over the last couple of years. Different countries had their own version of the show on Netflix and under the same title, so it wasn’t long until the UK got its Love is Blind too, which brings us to this anticipated moment.

Love is Blind: UK is now officially available on Netflix with the first four episodes streaming on the platform, and of course, we had to check it out, who doesn’t love a juicy reality show where singles attempt to fall in love sight unseen?

In this review, we will explore Love is Blind: UK a little more, so stick around and find out if it’s worth adding to your watchlist!

Love is in the Pods!

The pods are officially open, a moment several Love is Blind fans have been waiting for. Unlike the original version, this Love is Blind: UK doesn’t witness the romance and compatibility between Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the hosts, but instead, the contestants and fans are welcomed by Matt and Emma Willis.

The first part of the first episode goes as usual, where the contestants interact amongst themselves a little before the hosts ask them what they’re looking for here. Everyone has come for love, and apart from the accent, there are other ways you can tell Love is Blind: UK is going to set itself apart from the other versions of the reality show, in a good way.

From funeral directors to Arsenal fans to people who love arcade games, this season has it all, and at first glance, each contestant appears to be lovely and genuinely looking for love. But of course, we are aware of the drama that will arrive in the coming episodes, so don’t let the first episode of the show fool you!

All those who are wondering if there’s a proposal right off the bat at the beginning of the show, we will have to say yes, but there’s also a huge cliffhanger because, without that, Love is Blind of any country would be incomplete.

It is a mix of these cliffhangers, love triangles, reveals, drama, and some genuine connection that make this show an exciting watch, and we were hooked!
