Tensions are escalating, and stakes have never been higher in Apple TV+’s gripping French family drama, La Maison. Previously, Paloma Castel and Vincent Ledu’s animosity towards each other was a defining aspect of the series.
However, in a stunning twist, the previous episode saw Paloma become the catalyst for Vincent’s unexpected return from the dead, as he found his way back to LEDU.
As La Maison approaches its climactic conclusion, supporting characters like Victor, Robinson, and Caroline take center stage. With episode 8 now released, we dive into our review of the latest installment, so make sure you stick around till the end, but beware of spoilers!
Vincent Comes Back to Work!
The hustle and bustle begins once again in La Maison Episode 8 after Paloma returns to the studio after spending time away with Vincent, which means it is also time for her next show.
With the roaring success of her previous show, the pressure to perform is high, and this time, Vincent is watching over her. Paloma remains unimpressed with all work and the creativity isn’t kicking in.

While Paloma might be happy about Vincent’s return to the studio, several others aren’t, including Paloma’s best friend, Ye-Ji. Yey, Vincent makes sure his presence is felt, as he always does, and from a viewer’s perspective—it is a treat! Meanwhile, Victor continues to do what he does best—blackmail members of his family for the Rovels.
Caroline has always been an underestimated character and family member, all thanks to her mother, but in the final few episodes of La Maison, that won’t be the case, and Victor knows it too.
At this point, no one can really trust anyone, not even their family, and this works perfectly in sync with the theme of the series, making it intriguing and entertaining!

Despite being a constant rock for Paloma, Ye-Ji has once again been shown her place in Paloma’s life as they have a much-needed discussion, about both their futures at LEDU. This conversation was a long time coming, and we’re surprised didn’t happen sooner. Nevertheless, it felt well-placed. La Maison episode 8 does focus on other characters too, but the focus has shifted back to Paloma.
Ultimately, the series boils down to the rivalry between LEDU and Rovel, and how that impacts everyone around. The build-up over the season has us gripping our seats, and as the finale comes closer, we’re eager to watch it all unfold…or potentially fall apart, especially for Diane Rovel.

Conclusion
Nobody can be trusted in La Maison, but at least Paloma now has the creative inspiration she needs for her next show! Keep an eye out for our review of Episode 9 of the series next week.
