Paloma Castel has firmly entrenched herself as part of the LEDU brand but hasn’t quite made a lasting impression with the Ledu family…but there’s still plenty of time for that. If you haven’t caught up with the first three episodes of La Maison, we highly recommend doing so right away especially if you love fashion and drama.

La Maison on Apple TV+ started with a bang, an impressive one, and continued to maintain that in the following episodes, which brings us to its latest installment, Episode 4. It is time for Paloma to show what she’s made of while Vincent’s legacy begins to fade away, and here’s our review of it!

Perle Foster Takes the Stage

If there’s one thing we can truly appreciate about Paloma, is that she works hard, and works well. It is almost time for her first fashion show, and by the looks of it, she has barely slept as she pays all her attention to the little details, well aware a lot is riding on this show.

Of course, La Maison Episode 4 also begins with some tension between her and Vincent, even if it just involves looks that could kill. Speaking of Vincent, he has decided to take a step back as he makes his way to an island, but how long can he really be away from his Maison?

Meanwhile, Victor Ledu is on the receiving end of a cold shoulder of sorts from Diane Rovel, all because of Robinson Ledu, who has been stringing the Rovels along for three weeks now. Robinson is apprehensive about betraying his family, and thus, Victor presents him with an ultimatum – one day or the deal’s off!

The focus of La Maison Episode 4 remains on Paloma’s fashion show, and rightfully so. While there are moments Paloma isn’t the most likable character in this series, it goes without saying that she is one of the strongest female leads, and Zita Hanrot, deserves plenty of credit for her portrayal of Paloma.

As more about Diane Rovel’s slimy ways is revealed, Paloma remains one step ahead of everyone, including Perle, as she makes it a point that the former model takes the podium once again, in the most important design of the show. Despite Perle having cold feet right before the show, she decides to show up, for LEDU.

Paloma’s first fashion was a raging success and it proved that La Maison isn’t just about the drama and holds a special place for fashion too.

At the end of Episode 4, Perle pays a visit to Vincent, and he gets a much-needed reality check after learning that Perle was once pregnant with Victor’s baby when he’d asked her to lose 12 pounds for one of his shows.
