Following his recent success with two seasons of Unstable, it looks like he might just be becoming a Netflix regular, and we’re here for it.

Anyway, the focus of this documentary isn’t Lowe, although his voice continues to remain in the background, but the stars of the show are man’s best friends, dogs.
If you are a pet dog at your home, chances are you already know some of the interesting facts glossed over in Inside the Mind of a Dog, but most of it was news to us, which adds to why we found this documentary so informative and entertaining!
Canine science is a more recently evolved field and it made sense for this documentary to have landed on the streaming platform in 2024 and not sooner. The makers have made sure that they have plenty of information to give their viewers, and importantly stuff that can’t always be found through a Google search.
So even if you think you know it all, Inside the Mind of a Dog might change your mind.

One of our favorite parts of this documentary takes place fairly early on which focuses on the relationship between dogs and humans, how it started, and how it has evolved since, the words used for the aforementioned relationship in Inside the Mind of a Dog are “hopelessly intertwined.”
Canine cognition and the different tests that were used in this documentary were incredibly impressive with some shocking results, that we wouldn’t have expected.
Dogs are so much like humans, in so many ways, and the more people study these friendly animals, the more they uncover, and plenty of that is reflected in Inside the Mind of a Dog on Netflix.
