Emily might have been all alone in Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 7, but that’s only when it comes to her love interests. She has been shut down by Gabriel after he avoided telling her about Camille’s false pregnancy, and later when they had to work together, he also completely blew up at her, but Genevieve was around to put off the fire.

As the series of events continue to escalate, we can’t wait to see what’s the endgame in store for Emily, who has come so far, after endless heartbreaks and tears. Will she end up with Gabriel, or will her journey end all alone for the time being? Time will tell, and so will our review of Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 8 !

Emily and the Italian Stallion!

If Emily in Paris was 4 seasons of Mindy and Emily just talking about life, we’d happily watch it. Safe to say, Episode 8 begins with the girls at a polo match as Mindy watches her boyfriend, Nico play. However, Emily is also in for a surprise as she is introduced to Marcello, Nico’s friend, who also happens to be Emily’s knight in shining armor, who saved her during the disastrous ski trip. You know, when she was abandoned by her boyfriend.

After Emily gets asked out by Marcello, it is evident that tensions between her and Genevieve are also rising, especially after Genevieve had a late night at Gabriel’s restaurant after a work thing. Despite Camilie moving out, and Genevieve needing an apartment, Emily doesn’t give Genevieve the recommendation, and we can smell the drama from far away.

In Episode 8, we also witness a stunning performance from Mindy, which might not have gone exactly as planned but was still a success. Following this, Emily goes on a date with Marcello. It was romantic, and what she needed after a terrible break up, but sadly, he was all set to return to Rome. So, can we count Marcello out as a potential love interest for Emily?

Things aren’t so great between Emily and Gabriel, and Gabriel has also decided that there should be some space between the two, while we agree, this will come as a punch in the gut for all the fans who have been shipping them together since the first season. Nevertheless, Marcello stays back for another night, and also meets Gabriel briefly, mentioning the boyfriend who left Emily on the top of a mountain. These awkward comedy moments really help the overall quality of the episode.

The episode ends with a sweet kiss between Emily and Marcello, however, we’re still not convinced about this romance, since it happened too late in the series. But, when it comes to Emily, you can never tell who she might end up with.

Conclusion

While Emily’s love interests might be a question mark in this part of the season, there’s one thing we’re certain about, and that’s the fabulous fashion in Emily in Paris. We can’t wait to see what the last two episodes have in store for us!
