Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano’s young love continues in Blue Box Episode 2, which is now streaming on Netflix. In the first episode of the series, we witness Taiki’s infatuation for Chinatsu, whose focus remained on her basketball career, which also forces her to stay away from her parents who will be moving overseas.

Lucky for Taiki, Chinatsu will be living with him and his family, which comes as a big surprise to him, and he barely comprehends it. But, the journey must continue, which brings us to Blue Box Episode 2, and you can read our review of the same right here!

Taiki and Chinatsu Begin Living Together

Blue Box episodes on Netflix are short and sweet. They can never be overwhelming or long enough to make you want to increase the speed or skip to the end.

These episodes are breezy and easy to follow, and this stands true for Episode 2 as well, which begins with Chinatsu thanking Taiki’s family for giving her a home to stay in while her parents are away.

While Chinatsu moving in opens new doors for Taiki, to begin with, he’s a nervous wreck. He can’t comprehend sharing a house with the girl he has loved for so long, but his nerves are slightly put at ease when Chinatsu and he share a moment in his room, and she expresses how grateful she is to live with someone who is a familiar face, aka Taiki.

Back at school, Taiki is advised by his friend to not announce Chinatsu’s new living situation to everyone because her admirers might not be too thrilled about it. While Taiki does spend a lot of his time thinking about Chinatsu, he is also focused on his badminton career, and later that day, Chinatsu gives him the push he needs to believe in himself a little more.

As Blue Box Episode 2 progresses we learn that Chinatsu is under the impression that Taiki has feelings for his friend, Hina, but he is quick to laugh it off, and Hina overhears their conversation. Taiki finds himself a little overwhelmed between keeping his living situation a secret and also trying to keep his focus on badminton as it gets more competitive.

At the end of the episode, after having a heartwarming conversation with Hina, Taiki spots Chinatsu with another boy, Haryu. This is where the episode ends, and while this installment wasn’t as good as the pilot episode, we’re still engaged and eager to know how Taiki goes forward with his crush!
