Bad Monkey is Apple TV+’s latest comedy-drama series and after a two-episode premiere last week, this series is off to a strong start, and plenty of credit goes to Vince Vaughn who leads the series as Andrew Yancy.
The mystery of the dismembered arm continues as we try to figure out who killed Nick Stripling, even though all fingers point at Eve, so far.
We’ve been looking forward to watching Bad Monkey Episode 3 and hopefully getting a few more answers, and if you’re in the same boat as us, then this article is for you. In this, we will review the latest episode of Bad Monkey, and share some of the key highlights, so make sure you stick around!
Yancy and Rosa Get Closer
After a funny recap with narration (make sure you don’t miss out on that), Bad Monkey Episode 3 picks up where the last episode ended as Neville and Yancy meet for the first time and their paths cross at the restaurant.
Yancy is here with Rosa, and he’s attempted to guess her coffee order, and of course, he gets it wrong. But one thing is for sure, there’s no lack of chemistry and comedy between the two, and we already have faith in this episode.

When Neville and Yancy interact for the first time (minus ordering coffee), as Yancy is doing his job as a health inspector, they get along almost immediately, of course, there’s also a monkey involved in the mix as Neville tells Yancy about the horrible week he has had.
After their coffees, Rosa and Yancy decide to interrogate Madeline, who has been a runner the last time we saw her, and to no one’s surprise, especially not Yancy’s, she runs as soon as she sees the pair when they show up at her shop.
Yancy is a few steps ahead of Madeline once they start talking to her, mainly about her boyfriend Phinney, and his involvement with the arm. However, there was another person involved, but that’s a question mark.

Much like the previous episodes, Bad Monkey Episode 3 also switches between the two stories of Neville and Yancy, and we’re certain the two will cross paths once again. There are moments when it becomes a little confusing to keep up with both the ongoing stories, but this series makes you want to stick around, and that’s exactly what we recommend doing as well.
Yancy also gets a brief call from Bonnie, but that doesn’t contribute to the plot, as Yancy and Rosa continue their investigation. The two eventually pay a visit to Doctor Israel O’Peele for some answers, who also has a drug problem, which is probably why he doesn’t hesitate to answer questions posed by the duo.

Bad Monkey Episode 3 is packed, sometimes, a little too packed, but Yancy eventually finds out that the case he has been investigating so desperately has been closed. Meanwhile, he and Rosa continue to share some moments together, but there isn’t much progress.
Caitlin and Eve don’t appear in this episode until the very end, which is a shocker, but for the right reasons. Caitlin has a gun pointing at Eve as she begs her to confess that Eve was the one who killed her father, but Eve is looking rather nonchalant. Turns out, her father is alive…and doesn’t have an arm.
Conclusion
Matters continue to get more twisted as the series progresses and we are hooked! If you want to know more about the next episodes of Bad Monkey, make sure you check our website for reviews and previews!
